Lighting Design Alliance has worked on over 150 Cheesecake Factory restaurants all over the world.

This particular restaurant, located in the historic Police Headquarters at Seaport District in San Diego, proposed a unique challenge of combining a brand name space that customers recognize while preserving and accenting this challenging historic space and meeting strict T-24 codes.

A desire to emphasize the existing truss system that spans the length of the space was accomplished by concealing a low profile LED tapelight on top of the flange and adding a metal lip to conceal.

The illusion of floating perimeter soffits are created by low wattage custom colored cold cathode linear runs. This unusual lamp source provides even illumination in tricky curved and shallow coves. The floating ceiling effect is continued with custom linear pendants
