An extensive architectural and interior renovation of a Society Hill townhouse, originally designed by mid-century modern architect I.M. Pei in 1962 respects the purity of the original plan, preserves a central stair, and incorporates 21st century technology and luxury amenities into a compact footprint.
Lighting follows suit with a minimal, yet effective, design. Modern matching square aperture trims conceal multiple functions : downlights, adjustable accents and wall washers. Wall slots and ceiling coves throughout conceal linear LED and fluorescent striplights which provide accent effects while completely concealing fixtures from direct view.
