With the success of the Hollywood location, Katsuya Glendale follows the same modern clean design of Philippe Starck while taking on its own unique character. A modern take on the pagoda houses a feature bar on the first level showcasing a new set of backlit geisha imagery. An upper level is home to the main dinning room with secondary bar, central sushi counter and highlighted pin spot table tops. A custom spiral stair case with integral lighting alongside edge-lit tattoo two story graphic become spotlight in transition between levels. Accented vanity sinks feature hidden masks, concealed via a two-way mirror, which become visible via a fiber optic and motion sensor system. This complete lighting package still adheres to California's strict Title 24 energy code.
