Transportation hubs are vital to connect our ever growing population centers. This elevated platform connects commuters to mass transportation in a safe and efficient environment. The refined industrial look is enhanced with matching fixtures.
The Grantville stop is located along San Diego’s Trolly Green Line. As part of the first modern light-rail system in California, it is the fifth most-ridden light-rail system in the country. Due to its high usage, designs must be durable and functional, but not necessarily unsightly. Simple lighting is integrated into the structural elements to create an artistic expression rather than the typical industrial setting. Scaled poles line pedestrian zones and functional luminaries fill in the parking areas. Stairwell structures are brightly illuminated without the usual glare.
