Centennial Olympic Park was the cornerstone of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games which were hosted in Atlanta, Georgia. The 21 acre park was designed for both the Olympics and all of its temporary features and structures, but also needed function as a great urban park after the games were concluded.

The central ‘Fountain of Rings’ is based upon the iconic five Olympic circles. 251 dynamically controlled water jets along with integrated color changing lights and music creates a unique water sculpture at the park center. The symbolic gesture to the Olympics, which will remain in Atlanta for all future generations, has since been replicated in other urban designs including the famous Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas.
