Leo A. Daly was selected to design the new multi-million community services building for Burbank, California, including the planning and building divisions, public works department, and the parks and recreation department.
A goal of providing a LEED Certified building was set by the City of Burbank. and as lighting was to play an important role in achieving the necessary LEED requirements. The space consists of individual perimeter offices, open office spaces, conference rooms, a three-story central atrium, and a large multi-purpose community room. Specialized lighting controls and daylighting were instrumental in helping to achieve the LEED goals of the project.
