The Biogen Idec Pharmaceutical project is designed to operate as a 24-hour research and corporate campus in San Diego, CA.
Biogen Idec is a biotechnology company specializing in drugs for neurological disorders, autoimmune disorders and cancer. The San Diego research and development branch required a functional building which included office and administrative areas, laboratories, and recreation facilities for employees, as well as exterior grounds and pathways.
